The Best Momma in The World!!!!!

Welcome to my tribute page...

This web site is completely dedicated to one of the greatest people to ever grace the world with her presence.  I cannot express enough how eternally greatful I am to have her as my mother...

Da Momma...

My mother, Simi, was born in Biloxi, Mississippi, grew up in Crosby, North Dakota for a few years, but most of her chidlhood was spent on an Air Force Base in Germany.  She has 6 beautiful children, and a big heart.  There are so many stories to tell and so many good things to say, but there are not enough web pages in the world to even narrow the topic down.  I could talk your ear off.  She has been my inspiration for so many things, and she has been there for me no matter how many miles are between us.  She is my best friend, and the greatest mom in the world.  Some of these stories I will tell...

Keeping Your Cool *smiles*

Okay... so my mom is a little...eccentric, if you will.  Hell, she is weird!  But that is what I love about her!  My family would be way too boring if she were a normal parent.  She may not dress the same as other parents, and she may not wear that over-exagerated, awful, ungodly strong perfumes as they do, but patchouli smells damn good!  From this, you can gather how my schools reacted to her when she pulled up in a deisel two-door Oldsmobile, with Stickers all over it, incense drifting out over the rolled down window.  They assumed she was a "pot head".  I had heard it being brought up among some of the fellow students and some teachers.  So, for the first time, my mother decided to attend a Parent/Teacher Conference for me.  She never had to go before because she was actually involved with her kids enough to know everything the teachers were going to tell her anyway.  But she went, only it was not just a little visit.  She went in front of all these teachers with a cooking pot on her head.  DO you think they said anything after that?   *laughs*  Nope!

Bloody Worms and Dirt!

*laughs* I still laugh every time I think about this story.  Okay.....

As a family, you can agree with me that they all have their special languages or their special secret code words for little things.  We had code words for food.  One time, my mother took us grociery shopping with her and we were in the pasta isle.  She looked to the side of her where an elderly woman was standing contemplating on something or other.  My mother turned to us and asked, " So... what do you want for dinner?"  We all chanted, " Bloody worms and dirt! Bloody worms and dirt!"  The elderly lady looked at my mother in disgust, until my mother told her it was our code name for Spaghetti and Meatballs.  We laughed so hard at the expression on that woman's face.  We mocked her expression for a LONG time...  To funny... *laughs histarically*
